Dental Implants and Bone Grafting

Facing tooth loss can lead to many questions about the future of your oral health and your smile. Dr. Jessica Ellis and Dr. Bryan Euzent provide reliable solutions so that you can eat the foods you love and smile confidently.

A popular choice, because of its many benefits, is tooth replacement with dental implants. This provides the most lifelike solution for patients with missing teeth.

Benefits of Dental Implants

Dental implants are extremely durable because they integrate with your jawbone. This bone to implant contact enables a strong, long-lasting tooth replacement solution. Dental implants can replace one or many missing teeth and can even help hold a denture in place. There are multiple treatment options available that can be customized to your individual needs.

Proper home care of dental implants is very important but also easy to do. A good oral hygiene routine and regular professional cleanings will give you the best chance of maintaining your implant – and your natural teeth – for a lifetime!

Your Dental Implant Procedure

At Warm Springs Dental, we use 3-D cone beam imaging and intraoral scanning to digitally plan your implant and/or bone grafting needs. This technology allows us to plan the ideal location for your dental implant while providing vital information to minimize the risk of complications.

Bone Grafting

If your jaw bone is narrow, bone grafting is often necessary to rebuild the lost bone. If we perform your extraction in our office, we can often complete the bone grafting procedure simultaneously, saving you an additional appointment and surgery.

Our patients tolerate dental implant surgery well and often report little discomfort after routine dental implant treatment.

The Healing Process

It takes about 3 to 4 months for your dental implant to fully integrate with your bone. We will monitor your dental implant as it heals so we can restore your smile as efficiently as possible.

Custom Dental Implant Crowns

We create each dental implant crown specifically for you, matching the color expertly with your surrounding teeth for a uniform look. We also ensure the fit is precise so that chewing is comfortable and the contours aid you in maintaining healthy gums.

When treatment is complete, your dental implant can last for many years – even decades – with proper care.

Implant-Retained Dentures

For some patients, denture fit can be challenging– moving, shifting, creating sores, and falling out at the most inconvenient times. We can place 2 or more dental implants to lock your denture in place, adding stability and confidence to your smile.

Implant-retained dentures support healthy nutrition by allowing patients to eat a wider variety of foods.
