Crowns, Bridges, and CEREC®

Fillings and crowns are both dental restorations, but they each have very different purposes. At Warm Springs Dental, we recommend treatment designed to protect and, ultimately, save your tooth.

A dental filling seals your tooth after removing decay. Removing decay leaves a cavity and exposes the internal part of your tooth to collect food particles and bacteria. We prevent this by filling your cavity with tooth-colored composite. Composite is a mixture of BPA-free plastic and microscopic glass particles. We match composite to the color of your tooth so that it complements your smile.

A dental crown protects a tooth when its structure has sustained enough damage to put it at risk. Chewing food each day places a strain on your teeth. Without proper support, your tooth may split or break, resulting in the need for an extraction.

A dental crown completely covers your tooth and absorbs some of the force of chewing.

As we do with our dental fillings, we create natural-looking crowns. Our crowns are metal-free, and we match them to the color of your smile. Our dentists expertly design each crown for a comfortable fit and proper function. In some cases, we can create same-day crowns using CEREC technology.

If you have additional questions about why we recommend a certain type of treatment, call our Tualatin, OR dental office so we can help.

Dental Implants and Bone Grafting

At Warm Spring Dental, one of our main goals is to provide the highest quality and most comprehensive dental care available. We use the latest technology, 3-D digital x-rays and 3-D surgical guide printing, to ensure the precise placement of dental implants. This often makes it possible for us to complete your dental implant treatment in our office from start to finish without the need for a referral to another office.

We place single dental implants, multiple dental implants, implant-retained dentures, and implant-supported bridges to assist patients who have missing teeth or who are facing dental extractions.

If you do not have sufficient bone for dental implant placement, we also provide bone grafting surgery, as part of our comprehensive treatment. We can often perform bone grafting simultaneously with dental extractions, eliminating the need for additional appointments.

Dental implants help many of our patients regain their confidence and enjoy the foods that they love. Dental implants are stable and reliable. They don’t move or shift when you eat or laugh, so you can keep your social life active, without concern for embarrassing dental mishaps.

For more information about dental implants or to discover whether they are the right choice for you, contact our Tualatin dental office to schedule an exam with Dr. Bryan Euzent or Dr. Jessica Ellis.

Invisalign

We understand that many of our patients did not have the opportunity to wear braces in their childhood years or failed to wear a retainer after treatment, leading to orthodontic relapse.

A misaligned bite can cause feelings of self-consciousness when you smile and may even cause discomfort from teeth that do not come together correctly.

Rather than offering traditional orthodontics using brackets and wires, we have opted to offer Invisalign in our Tualatin, OR dental office. Invisalign provides a discreet alternative that our patients appreciate.

Conditions we can address with Invisalign:

  • Overbite
  • Underbite
  • Crossbite
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Protruding teeth
  • Overlapping teeth

We can use Invisalign to correct most orthodontic issues conveniently and comfortably without the need for metal or ceramic brackets. Invisalign trays are removable, which helps patients maintain good oral health throughout treatment and enjoy an unrestricted diet.

A progression of clear aligner trays will gradually and gently move your teeth toward their ideal alignment. Our dentists will supervise the process, ensuring that your teeth come together correctly, feel comfortable, and look great upon completion of your treatment.

Contact us to schedule an orthodontic evaluation with Dr. Euzent or Dr. Ellis to see if Invisalign is right for you.

Root Canals and Tooth Extractions

One of the biggest mistakes that patients make is waiting to contact us when they have a dental emergency. Even mild dental pain is an indication that something is wrong. Waiting may cause mild pain to progress and become severe, interrupting work, sleep, or even the family vacation.

At Warm Springs Dental, we strive to treat dental emergencies quickly. Often, addressing a problem at the first sign of symptoms gives us the opportunity to save your tooth.

Some of the common dental emergencies we treat include:

  • Broken teeth
  • Knocked-out teeth
  • Damaged restorations, like crowns or fillings
  • Pain or swelling
  • Damaged prosthetics, like dentures or bridges

Our dental office is also the official provider to the Portland Trail Blazers, and both Dr. Bryan Euzent and Dr. Jessica Ellis are experts at treating all types of sports-related dental injuries.

We make every effort to prevent dental emergencies; however, if you require an emergency dental appointment, we will see you as soon as possible. When you arrive, we will have a room set up to diagnose what is causing your dental problem. Even if you need a root canal or an extraction, we can take care of you right here without the need for a referral.
